Job Details
We are looking for a proactive People and Development Advisor with a real emphasis on early careers development to join our HR Team. This is a newly created role, due to growth of the firm and its requirements. As a People & Development Advisor at Thrings you will be supporting employees through their professional qualifications either as a Trainee Solicitors, an Apprentice or via CILEX. There will also be aspects of talent acquisition, assisting with early careers recruitment.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- Developing and delivering training materials, ideally within professional services, or a desire to learn how to design and deliver training.
- Knowledge and experience of running the trainee recruitment, selection and development process, ideally to include solicitor apprenticeship scheme, CILEX and other professional qualifications.
- Organising and facilitating law/career fairs and other early careers events.
- Working in a client focused role and delivering exceptional client service at all times.
- Taking ownership for planning and delivering our internal Thrings Academy for early careers and our Paralegal Alliance Group
We are looking for someone who is organised, able to work at pace and deliver to multiple deadlines.
This is a hybrid role based in either our Bristol or Swindon office, with the opportunity to travel to our other offices.
