Job Details
We're currently looking for a Cloud and End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to join our IT team on a full-time, permanent basis to help deliver our Modern Workplace strategy.
This role can be based in Newcastle, Plymouth or Bristol and falls under our hybrid working policy. We would ask that you reside close enough to one of our office locations so that you can visit weekly/a few days a fortnight as per current working practices.

The role
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager the Cloud and EUC Engineer will be responsible for the development and delivery of the EUC environment and related Microsoft 365 Cloud related services to the firm. This includes the maintenance and support of all EUC technologies such as SCCM, Intune, Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud based systems ensuring these are configured optimally and securely.
Duties include:
- Lead the firm in adoption of modern endpoint technologies.
- Architect and lead the Windows endpoint lifecycle including onboarding via autopilot, CSP configuration, app delivery and security benchmarking.
- Own and maintain configuration of BYOD policies, ensuring approved apps are accessed securely from mobile devices.
- 3rd line Support and maintenance of the existing SCCM infrastructure.
- Support App delivery via SCCM in line with business requirements.
- Design and maintain M365 Conditional Access Policies and support Entra ID and identity and access management.
- Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, private endpoints and network resources in Azure.
What we are looking for?
We're open to different industry backgrounds, so you do not necessarily need to have worked within the legal sector. What's most important is your expert knowledge, approach, attitude and ability to communicate your ideas and contribute to improving the future direction of our EUC journey.
To be considered you must meet the minimum requirements of:
- Experience architecting in the endpoint space
- Proven experience in Intune service delivery, ideally with autopilot, BYOD and Windows configuration delivery
- Expert SCCM Knowledge
- Advanced level PowerShell knowledge in scripting for automations and dynamic installs
- Expert knowledge of Windows Client and Server technologies
- An understanding of Azure cloud services
- Experience in maintaining Entra ID and Conditional Access Policies
- Experience in maintaining and configuring Application Control policies
- Good knowledge of general Microsoft tooling in the end user and cloud space
- Solid knowledge of modern workplace technologies and best practices
- Ability to document processes and configurations
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and methodologies
- Working knowledge of Git/Azure Devops for source control
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102), Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent are highly desirable.
