Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Dynamics 356 Developer to join our IT team in London on a 24 month contract.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders and suppliers to manage the Dynamics 365 offering.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, Dev Leads, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Develop and customize solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform, including configuration, customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Implement custom workflows, plugins, web resources, and other components to enhance Dynamics 365 functionality and meet business needs.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to coding standards.
  • Support deployment activities, data migration, and system integration efforts as part of Dynamics 365 projects.
  • Promote, develop and improve the Dynamics 365 offering. 
    • Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service solution for our Business Services department.  This is used as a request management and resource scheduling (currently in pilot).
    • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for our firmwide CRM tool (currently in development phase).
    • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for one part of our business to manage their leads and opportunities.  This will likely be consumed by the firmwide CRM. (currently live).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 Developer or similar role, with proficiency in customizing and extending Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.  development. 
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Liquid and other relevant programming languages for Dynamics 365 development. 
  • Customization and configuration of Dynamics 365 solutions. 
  • Integration with external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware. 
  • Development of custom workflows, plugins, web resources, and reports in Dynamics 365.Experience in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages). 
  • Worked using agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.  
  • Interest in emerging IT trends and technologies. 
  • Can work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment 
  • Have a proactive attitude to self-improvement and working as a team 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in debugging and resolving technical issues.

You will stand out if you have the following

  • Experience with Universal Resource Scheduling capability of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service.
  • Experience with IntroHive contact mapping solution
  • Experience with Peppermint's Client Engagement CRM solution for Dynamics
