Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Dynamics 356 Functional Consultant to join our IT team in London on a 24 month contract.

Role and responsibilities

  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to translate Business and Technical requirements into functional applications and features to provide to the relevant internal teams and third parties involved.
  • Work with the relevant teams and third parties to formulate working proof of concepts for the proposed solutions and assist with any integration with any test systems to help prove the solution meets the customer’s needs.
  • Gain a working knowledge of the current data structure within the incumbent CRM solution and its relying systems to support the suppliers understand and proposed migration plan and design.
  • Quality Assure the proposals made by the third party(s) in terms of their design and migration approach.
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, or Customer Service (including resource scheduling) to meet specific business needs.
  • Conduct user training and support to ensure successful adoption of Dynamics 365 across the organization.
  • Participate in system testing, data migration, and deployment activities.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Dynamics 365 applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Promote, develop and improve the following Dynamics 365 offerings:
  • Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service solution for our Business Services department.  This is used as a request management and resource scheduling (currently in pilot).
  • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for our firmwide CRM tool (currently in development phase).
  • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for one part of our business to manage their leads and opportunities.  This will likely be consumed by the firmwide CRM. (currently live).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant or similar role within the legal or professional services industry.
  • Experience of working with CRM within the legal industry including understanding the importance of Pitch Management and Client Relationship Management.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of technical aspects for project delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly motivated self-starter, who will undertake all activities to the highest professional standards.
  • Hands-on professional experience of working in a global enterprise across time zones with an appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and testing methodologies.
  • The candidate should have extensive experience in designing, deploying and migrating to CRM solutions in a global organisation.
  • Experience of migrating legacy CRM data to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Interest in emerging IT trends and technologies.

  • Experience with Universal Resource Scheduling capability of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service.
  • Experience with IntroHive contact mapping solution.
  • Experience with Peppermint's Client Engagement CRM solution for Dynamics.
