We are currently recruiting for a Dynamics 365 Dev Lead to join our IT team in London on a 24 month contract.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers to manage the Dynamics 365 offering
  • Lead a team of Dynamics 365 functional consultants and developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions and integrations within the D365 platform.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable solutions using best practices in Dynamics 365 development, including customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to coding standards.
  • Manage product backlog, development tasks, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Dynamics 365 applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Provide technical know-how as the firm-wide subject matter expert.
  • Promote, develop and improve the following Dynamics 365 offerings:
    • Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service solution for our Business Services department.  This is used as a request management and resource scheduling (currently in pilot).
    • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for our firmwide CRM tool (currently in development phase).
    • Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise solution for one part of our business to manage their leads and opportunities.  This will likely be consumed by the firmwide CRM. (currently live).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Developer or Technical Lead, with hands-on development experience in Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Liquid and other relevant programming languages for Dynamics 365 development.
  • Experience with Azure services, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages), and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Extensive experience in designing, deploying and migrating to CRM solutions in a global organisation.
  • Mastery of designing and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, their capabilities, customization, and configuration options.
  • Proven experience in the customisation and configuration of Dynamics 365 solutions including integration with external systems using APIs, Azure services, and middleware.
  • Worked using agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
  • Interest in emerging IT trends and technologies.
  • Can work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Have a proactive attitude to self-improvement and working as a team
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Hands-on professional experience of working in a global enterprise across time zones with an appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and testing methodologies.

  • Experience with Universal Resource Scheduling capability of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service.
  • Experience with IntroHive contact mapping solution.
  • Experience with Peppermint's Client Engagement CRM solution for Dynamics.
