Position Details:
Supporting the Pricing & Profitability team, the Revenue Assistant (internally known as Junior Account Manager) will perform a number of day-to-day research and reporting functions assigned by the Pricing and Profitability Managers.
Projects can include data reporting, data analysis, maintaining various databases, generating reports, developing client budgets, monitoring client financial metrics, and collaborating with other departments, whilst receiving continuous training.
Successful candidates will have at least one to two years of work experience (law firm experience is a plus), will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, will possess strong problem-solving skills, and will be able to work in a highly collaborative environment, and multi-task.
Successful candidates will be required to work from the London office three days per week.
Reporting Relationships
The Junior Account Manager will report directly to Director of Pricing and Profitability.
Primary Responsibilities
Support Pricing and Profitability team with day to day functions including:
- Assisting with the maintenance and ensuring the integrity of data/information.
- Tracking budgets, credit and investment limits.
- Drafting correspondence at the direction of Pricing and Profitability Managers.
- Understand and learn the Firm’s best practices and benchmarks to support the team.
- Identifying discrepancies in data received from various resources, requests clarifications, or advises supervisor of issues related to data, and performs data verification routines in accordance with department procedures.
- Performing research and works with subject matter experts for guidance to complete project related assignments.
- Following and maintaining the established data related process while providing recommendations for improvement or enhancement.
- Capable of working independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ legal and/or business support experience preferred.
- Able to quickly learn new software applications and adapt to project related process changes.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.
- Capable of working independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, e- mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
- Professional, with the ability to interface directly with business contacts and represent the company.
