Job Details

It's no secret that we're an ambitious firm and our vision and our culture truly reflects that.  At the heart of this is an outstanding client experience, something that Womble Bond Dickinson prides itself on, and it's something that we've become so well known for. The Legal Solutions Centre (LSC), part of WBD Advance, is an essential part of our business made up of over 70 paralegals and legal executives, project managers, data analysts and client support specialists. They use flexible resourcing and time-saving technology to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service for a range of large scale projects.

The Legal Solutions Centre's dedicated Client Support Services team are now on the lookout for a Client Support Administrator to join them in Plymouth.

 What will you be doing?

The Client Support Services team provides comprehensive administrative support and the production of regular and on-demand reports within the Legal Solutions Centre and other fee earning teams (including Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution) across the business, acting as the first point of contact for all such queries. The team provide key client co-ordination services to several of the firm's most high-profile growth clients, and works with internal and external clients to satisfy all of their data and admin requirements.

This exciting Client Support Administrator role is very varied and will see you carrying out a wide range of activities including; the opening of new instructions on the firms internal and external case management systems; maintaining files throughout the life of the matter and closing upon completion; carrying out conflict checks for new and existing clients; drafting external correspondence; amending documents; co-ordination of client specific billing runs and ensuring they are completed within their required deadlines; raising regularly scheduled and ad-hoc financial requests as well as other associated administration tasks.

So what are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role, and whilst experience in a legal environment would be an advantage, it is by no means essential.
  • Computer literacy, having had experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well being able to use case management systems.
  • Experience managing and prioritising your workload in line with department service level agreements.
  • Experience handling multiple ongoing workstreams / projects coming from different areas of a business.
  • Excellent communication skills and being able to utilise them via different methods such as emails, phone calls and letters.
