The Talent Acquisition Team
This role will sit within the Talent Acquisition (TA) team with the opportunity to work across the wider People Team.
The Talent Acquisition team was formed in 2019 in response to our ever-growing business. The team partner directly with hiring managers and those in People Advisory to manage recruitment across the firm on both fee earning and non-fee earning roles at all levels. We are relied upon to provide strategic and operational expertise to our stakeholders and attract the best candidates to our business. Over the last 3 years we have reduced our reliance on agencies and successfully implemented a direct sourcing strategy. The team is headed up by a Director of People Advisory and consists of two TA Managers, one TA Advisor and two TA Assistants. This role will report in to the TA Advisor.
We are pleased to offer hybrid working and are looking for a commitment of at least 3 days per week in the office.

The role will primarily involve providing day to day support including, but not limited to:
- Scheduling interviews (virtual and in-person), including room bookings and the coordination/administration of assessments.
- Monitoring the recruitment inbox and responding to queries, both internal and external.
- Ensuring the Talent Acquisition Tracker is current and up to date and that this is shared with the Finance team weekly.
- Proactive management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) i.e. - closing down of roles, ensuring applicants and candidates have been responded to.
- Uploading job descriptions and coordinating the advertisement of roles on the website and LinkedIn.
- On-boarding and responding to recruitment agency queries.
- Arranging agency briefings.
- Updating and organising the 'Talent Acquisition' space on the Document Management System (DMS) and ensuring all files are up to date.
- Liaising with and responding to the Hiring Managers on availability to interview and keeping them well informed on the process, such as changes to candidates in process.
- General recruitment related admin, such as the processing of recruitment invoices and other related expenses.
- Assisting with recruitment data and reporting.
- Helping to produce market mapping.
- Gathering market data form recruitment agencies and other sources.
- Assisting with salary benchmarking.
- Providing support across the People Team as needed.
- Participation in recruitment and wider People projects.
Skills/Experience
- This role is ideal for someone looking for their first role in a busy HR/People/Talent Acquisition/Recruitment team or for someone with up to 12 months of administration experience.
- We encourage applications from graduates, apprentices, and those with relevant workplace experience.
- Experience of recruitment in the legal or professional services sectors would be helpful but is not essential.
- Experience of working in a recruitment agency environment would be helpful but is not essential.
- Experience or knowledge of the legal sector would be beneficial.
- Strong IT Skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and confident phone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work on multiple projects/priorities at one time and adapt quickly to change.
