Our Newly Qualified (NQ) training programme focuses on supporting colleagues transition to a NQ solicitor. The programme is designed to cover a range of topics including career development and financial training as well as build networks and facilitate collaboration, creating a real sense of togetherness across our NQ group to develop your career with the Firm.
What sort of work? We are looking to increase our newly qualified numbers in the below teams to compliment our trainees moving to their newly qualified roles in September.
Our teams are looking for individuals who can support them in delivering first class service to their clients and our NQ roles provide the opportunity to grow and develop in your chosen practice area and you will be supported along the way.
How do we work? We take a flexible, agile approach to working patterns. As a team we agree together on the best working arrangements that will enable each of us to provide exceptional client service, to collaborate and connect with colleagues, and to achieve the right home/work balance. Most people in the team choose to work 2-3 days a week in the office, with the balance of time spent working from home. We pride ourselves on our high-performance culture whilst offering a good work/life balance.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Undertaken a trainee seat in your chosen practice area
• Exhibit high levels of client service (both to internal and external clients).
• A genuine interest in promoting business development opportunities.
Other skills required include:
• A commercial, creative and 'Can do' approach to work and an ability to provide clients with solutions.
• An interest in and an ability to quickly understand the client's business is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; effective communicator at all levels (written and verbal). • Enthusiastic, friendly team player.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in a flexible and proactive way.
• Understand the importance of confidentiality and use of tact and discretion.
• Excellent work ethic, committed to working towards goals with enthusiasm and career commitment and on-going learning and development.
