Department/Role Overview
We have an opportunity for a proactive, creative and enthusiastic marketing professional to join our global Brand, Marketing & Communications team.
This role is responsible for planning and executing global iconic, high impact brand & marketing initiatives that position the Ashurst brand.
Your role will involve:
- Having a thorough understanding of Ashurst's 2027 Strategy, Values and Brand and how the team supports the firm's success.
- Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues in the brand, marketing, communications & BD team to ensure a consistent, considered approach globally.
- Project managing end-to-end execution and delivery.
- Directing creative and supporting the development of key assets including writing, drafting, editing communications assets/collateral as required.
Building relationships with key Ashurst partners and suppliers.
Main Responsibilites
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Coordinating multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns in areas that align with the 2027 Strategic Plan and enhance the Ashurst brand. This includes developing detailed implementation plans to execute on the approved go-to-market approach, ensuring that each campaign creates an impact for Ashurst.
- Briefing and collaborating with the team that is resourced to support the implementation for each campaign.
- Prioritising corporate brand and marketing opportunities, as well as those associated with the client & industry program.
- Building and managing relationships with our strategic partnerships, and driving the implementation and execution of our brand activations, and realising the benefits associated with these partnerships.
- Supporting the Ashurst brand refresh project.
- Promoting Ashurst's brand story and narrative in all marketing activities.
- Ensuring a high standard of creative production and strategically-aligned outcomes across project deliverables.
- Helping to build a culture where strategic marketing is seen as integral to the success of the firm.
- Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in business, marketing or communications.
- 3 years of experience in other, similar roles in either professional, financial services or agency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with all levels of seniority.
- Comfortable working with teams in different geographic locations and time zones.
- Understanding of integrated marketing and campaign management techniques and how to leverage these techniques for measurable results
