Department/Role overview:
The Cyber Security team is globally responsible for Ashurst's security posture and security operations. We are looking for a motivated and self driven individual to join our team in Glasgow. You will join a well established global team to help co-ordinate the vulnerability management monitoring, reporting and advisory role and assist remediation teams in their patch management duties by providing guidance and reporting.
Main responsibilities:
- Operate vulnerability management platform.
- Ensure data is available for reporting metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Responsible for stakeholder briefings on new, current and emerging vulnerabilities.
- Responsible for meeting and reporting on KPI targets.
- Coach junior team members and foster a strong team culture.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Reduce errors in vulnerability scanning and reporting.
- Responsible for quantifying asset risk.
- Any other reasonable activities not named which is required by management/leadership.
Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Essential skills and experience:
- Ability to operate across time zones and jurisdictions.
- Be a strong verbal and written communicator.
- Worked within the cyber security/Infosec industry for 3 or more years, with relevant technical expertise.
- Extensive experience in metric reporting and KPI management.
- Able to work in high pressure situations and support team members.
- Understand risk and risk appetite when dealing with security systems and vulnerabilities.
- Experience in coaching junior team members and facilitating knowledge transfer.
Desired skills & experience
- Appropriate technical industry certification

- Application vulnerability assessment
