Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for Internal Communications. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing a variety of high profile internal events within White & Case.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create successful events that align with the Firm's strategy, values, culture and goals.  

The Senior Manager plays a critical role in opening up the dialogue between the Firm’s leaders the Firm’s employees. 

This is a full-time position, working as part of the Internal Communications team, reporting to the Internal Communications Director in the London office. 

In this role you will 

  • Manage the virtual and in-person roundtable program globally for associates and Business Services; this program is designed to give our people an opportunity for open dialogue with the Executive Committee, Global COO and Office Executive Partners of our larger offices, and to give our leaders an opportunity to get closer to our people's thinking;

  • Manage the logistics of the Global Strategy Forum (firm-wide for the Chair; Business Services-wide for the Global COO) and other high impact events such as the Global COO's senior leader meetings;

  • Support Regional Section Heads with their face-to-face communications including section town halls and roundtable programs; providing suggestions for the agendas and bringing greater efficiencies to how town halls are run; sharing best practice with the AV team and PAs;

  • Provide hands-on support to the Global Partner Meeting;

  • Manage the Going the Extra Mile (GEMs) initiative, designed to further unite the Firm through recognition and saying Thank You;

  • Manage the Executive Committee-hosted milestone dinner program in New York and London for employees celebrating a milestone anniversary with the Firm, which has been on hold during the pandemic but which will be reinstated in 2023;

  • Manage feedback and measurement processes to assess the effectiveness of our face-to-face communications and using that measurement to (a) make recommendations for improvements and (b) help our leaders see the positive impact on our people of their interactions.

You are a good fit if you have 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field.  
  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications or related field, preferably in a professional services or legal environment
  • A proven track record of managing high profile events and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at a high level. 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of professional services environment, ideally at a law firm.
  • Knowledge of current communication and technology trends and best practices.

Education and Qualifications


Preferably educated to undergraduate level

Location and Reporting

  • This is a hybrid in-office/remote role based in our London office, with 3 days in the office and standard hours of 9:30 – 18:00.
