The role

The UK Cash Management Analyst will provide support to Global Service Centre (GSC) Cash Management team and the wider business functions ensuring an effective and efficient service is always provided to our internal customers (secretaries, lawyers & partners).

This is a 6 months' fixed term contract.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using our current Finance system Elite Enterprise, analyze our client matter files where we hold Client balances, to both understand where the balance originates from, and any action required
• To engage with the business etc. as required to be able to withdraw the balance whilst always maintaining compliance with SAR (Solicitors Accounts Rules) and Firms Policy
• Provide when required support with investigation of cheques received into the business where they should be banked etc., where required logging a ticket on our Service Portal and taking cheques to the bank
• Provide when required support with resolution of unallocated funds we have received where GSC (Global Service Centre) based in Poland have advised that the funds should be returned by either a bank rejection or creating a ticket on our Service Portal
• Provide support with opening of post received daily from all UK Offices (7 Offices including Edinburgh) which includes distribution of the post to the various teams both in the GSC and internally
• To support and assist as required within the UK Cash Management Team

ABOUT YOU

• A good understanding of client accounting processes within a large organisation
• A good understanding of UK Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs), Scottish Solicitors Accounts Rules (SSARs) and Ireland Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Be able to work within a fast moving and multi-location team
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Be comfortable multi-tasking and working to conflicting timescales
