We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to join our London-based Client Services team as a Senior Audio Visual and Multimedia Technician.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Senior Audio Visual (AV) and Multimedia Technician to work with our busy Client Services AV Team to support the delivery of client (external and internal) events and meetings in our virtual event studio, and across our meeting suite.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of this role are set out below and there may be others which are not listed. This role will work shifts between the hours of 07.30-18.00. Some working outside these hours may be necessary when the firm requires.

Assist and lead on projects and flagship events including taking a brief, proposal creation, presentation of ideas and solutions, managing meetings and events and post event analysis.

Provide production level support for hybrid events including operating high-end audio and vision mixing equipment.

Set up and support video and audio recording sessions for editing and production purposes.

Create on-line training sessions using Qumu combining video and audio footage with Powerpoint.

Undertake video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro to provide a professionally produced edit to be used with Qumu on the intranet or other media format.

Own complex problems and design solutions collaborating with the team as required.

Liaise with Client Services teams, the Business Development Team and Technology to lead the coordination and preparation for meetings and events

Install specified AV and IT equipment into rooms (desktop PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, keyboards, mice etc.).

Provide technical support and advice for internal and external clients including loading presentations/ documents as well as network, broadband and Wi-Fi advice.

Technical support including operation of studio lighting control desk, control and adjustment of multiple cameras during events and setting up video cameras for recording sessions/live events.

Support and guidance, as required, for users including presenters as well as issue resolution.

Set up video conference calls, acting as liaison with external companies
-
Provide technical support for MediaStar TV distribution system and change channels as requested.

Support key stakeholder (partner) meetings and events including some external.

Work alongside the management team to provide strategic input into the service to ensure services continuously evolve and provide a best in class experience for the firm.

Report faults to the AV Manager and where necessary arrange with the service/ maintenance provider to attend site to rectify.

Maintain accurate records of stock and regularly test hardware and equipment.
-
Deal with equipment requests and make/edit/ amend bookings for equipment on room booking system (Manhattan).

1st line maintenance of AV equipment

Maintain expertise and advise/support junior colleagues.

Adhere to the firm’s health and safety requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidates for this position will be expected to have worked, or be working, in a similar role within a professional services environment.
Candidates for this position must have:

Extensive experience of setting up, supporting and operating AV systems for large scale hybrid events including virtual events, streaming and collaboration platforms.

Advanced knowledge, experience and understanding of AV equipment.

AVIXA (InfoComm) CTS certification or willingness to attain it.
-
High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics and self-awareness.

A willingness to provide feedback, share information and contribute ideas and suggestions as necessary .

Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external clients and the resilience to deal with demanding individuals.

Excellent client facing skills.

Ability to communicate effectively (written, spoken and presentational), working well within a team.

Good working knowledge of MS Office inc Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
