LEGAL TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT
We have an excellent opportunity for a Legal Technology Consultant to join our Consulting & Technology Department within Pinsent Masons Vario.
Pinsent Masons Vario provides a range of professional services to our clients. These include flexible legal provision, legal project management, managed legal services, and legal technology consultancy.
The Consulting, Process and Technology practice incorporates legal technology and Lean Six Sigma functions providing services to
- Direct client engagements
- Vario Managed Legal Services
- Pinsent Masons (as an internal client)
Our consultants work with our lawyers, managed services team, and other service delivery teams in the support of prospective and live client projects. You will be expected to engage directly with our clients, who are generally in-house legal teams, developing relationships, establishing requirements, and scoping solutions.
The Legal Technology Consultant will work alongside our senior consultants in support of client technology engagements including advising and recommending on technology options. You will be involved in the full relationship cycle and may take full responsibility for smaller engagements.
The successful candidate will be confident in dealing with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels within the business and be able to facilitate meetings and present conclusions ensuring credibility and trust in the consulting service.
An interest and understanding of the legal technology landscape including third party service offerings together with the ability to apply this knowledge to specific client challenges is a must.
You will continue to use and develop your existing technology skills and will be expected to become proficient in key technologies including ContractPodAI, HighQ, Josef, and Microsoft 365.
If this is the right role for you, you will likely have had some years' experience as a legal engineer or business analyst or may have worked in a technical pre-sale’s role. You may also have worked in a business system or an application specialist role and are seeking the next step in your career.
