Job Details

We're currently looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role can be home-based, with occasional attendance at one of our regional offices (Plymouth, Southampton, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle or Edinburgh), or a hybrid role with a mix of home and office working.

The team

Central to our success are of course our very talented lawyers, but they couldn't achieve their results without the ongoing support from our Finance team who have an essential role to play in growing the business and maintaining our financial performance.

We've identified that we can add real value to our clients and gain a competitive advantage when we have meaningful data to analyse, especially when it comes to financial information. We need to ensure this information is analysed regularly and that our existing systems continue to meet the needs of both our clients and lawyers in an ever-changing legal landscape.

The role

Working as part of a team, you'll assist with developing, testing and implementing new systems and upgrades of existing systems. You'll maintain the firm's existing suite of SSRS reports and develop new reports as required.

Part of your role will involve training users in the use of the Practice Management System (PMS) modules and encouraging best practice regarding financial activities.

You'll also deal with day to day issue resolution of issues arising from the financial systems including the PMS, Aderant.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you'll have previous data management and systems implementation experience. It would be great if you've gained this experience in a law firm, although this isn't essential.

You'll have proven Excel, SSRS and SQL scripting skills along with strong analytical and problem solving ability.

As you'll be working with various people across the business, you'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage relationships with key Partners, stakeholders and colleagues.

Who are we?
