About CMSCMS is a Future Facing firm. With 79 offices in 45 countries and 5,000+ lawyers worldwide, we combine deep sector understanding with a global overview, giving us the ability not only to see what's coming, but to shape it.

CMS is well equipped to help our clients face the future with confidence. We are driven by technology and readily embrace the possibilities it opens up for developing new and better ways of delivering legal services. Our bold approach to a changing future ensures that we nurture our employees and recruit top talent.

We recognise the great importance of employee wellbeing, and we strive to support our people. We offer an exceptional range of resources to support wellbeing and good mental and physical health.

About the RoleThis is an unparalleled opportunity to work for key clients in the finance, fintech and insolvency sectors. You will primarily assist our collegiate and ambitious team with our ongoing and varied disputes workload, including high court litigation, arbitration and contentious insolvency matters.

We work for a range of clients in the finance and fintech (including digital assets) space, and associate tasks will be case and client dependant. You can expect a broad and stimulating range of work, including drafting evidence, instructing counsel, liaising with experts, clients and opponents, and assisting in preparation for, and attending, hearings and trials.

About YouTo flourish in this role, you will be a great communicator and team player, and have a keen eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative. It is also important that you are comfortable dealing with a large workload, therefore using your strong organisational skills.

You will be working with a team of colleagues as well as regularly dealing with clients, counsel and opponents. Therefore, it would be helpful if you enjoy liaising with people on different levels.

You should have a strong academic background and experience within a litigation team (whether private practice or in-house) is essential. Some insolvency and/or digital asset experience would be ideal, but not essential.

If this sounds like you, then please get in touch.
