Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Resource Manager to join the new Resource Management team within our Vario group in Birmingham. 

The new Resource Management team has been created to ensure our firm is agile, motivated and delivering consistently by ensuring we have the right people on the right matters, at the right time. Given the growth, investment and belief in the function this is a very exciting time to join us and be part of that growth and help to deliver on the firm’s people strategy.

Reporting to the Head of MLS Delivery, you will be part of the team supporting the Vario MLS delivery team, playing an important role in supporting the implementation and delivery of RM services to ensure operational excellence.

Whilst there will be great opportunity to help inform strategy for the growth of the function, we are looking for someone that can pick up the day to day requests from the business. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to manage fee earners at all levels and turn around requests efficiently and effectively.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working on large scale change projects, ideally with in an international professional services environment. You will have proven people management skills with the ability to influence decision and outcomes at a senior level. As well as an understanding of the issues faced by professional service firms and how our business works.
