Role: Commercial Lawyer

PQE: 3 – 6 years

Location: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester

Our Successful Candidate

We are looking for a 3-6 years PQE, English law qualified commercial contracts lawyer to join our dynamic and thriving Commercial team and be based in any one of our Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester offices.

We are seeking a well-rounded “O-shaped” lawyer. An individual who is technically excellent, commercially aware, highly motivated and enthusiastic.  A team player with a can-do attitude, a strong client focused approach and an ability to 'think outside the box' and develop innovative solutions. A strong academic background coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills is also key together with good experience of supervising and working with junior colleagues.

You will have trained and worked in a large commercial practice and be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of drafting and leading the negotiation of complex commercial contracts and technology contracts, including on an international basis. A good understanding of the application of TUPE, data protection and intellectual property law in the context of long term services supply and outsourcing agreements is also necessary.  You will have a keen interest in at least one of Pinsent Masons’ global sectors and a clear desire to become a true expert in your chosen fields.
