Where you'll work

As part of the Applications & Development team the role of Senior Systems Analyst is to be the primary resource developing and supporting the firms iManage environment.  The Senior Systems Analyst will improve the firms iManage environment, helping to implement new processes and enhance already available functionality, as well as being the main driver for iManage projects.

The role will also play a key part in supporting the firms iManage environment working with the IT Service Desk team acting as third line support.  The successful candidate must therefore have an excellent ability to diagnose and resolve issues/problems while demonstrating good communication skills with stakeholders both inside and outside of the IT Department.

While iManage will be the key skillset there is also the opportunity and expectation for the successful candidate to work with other technologies including but not limited to Citrix, Azure technologies and other vendor systems the firm currently uses.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining our iManage environment
  • Analysing, diagnosing, and resolving software and configuration issues in complex multi-tiered application environments
  • Maintaining a deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, networking, relational databases, Microsoft desktop software, and web technologies
  • Developing, documenting, and publishing best practice methods
  • Proactively assisting other teams within the IT department to avoid or reduce problem occurrence

What you'll need

  • Previous experience in IT or Support roles – minimum of 3 years
  • A Customer-oriented and friendly approach, not just a technical resolution
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving. Demonstrates the ability to think through situations outside the norm and develop appropriate solutions for isolating the root cause.
  • Experience in the following software and technologies is essential:
    • iManage Work
    • iManage Share
    • IDOL/Ravn Search
    • Phoenix WSC/Import & Export Assist
    • Prospereoware CAM
    • Active Directory & Group Policy
    • Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
    • Microsoft Office
    • Microsoft Windows 10
    • Microsoft Windows Servers
    • PowerShell Scripting
  • Good knowledge of working in a Citrix environment
  • A strong team player, ready to help colleagues
  • Polite professional manner, flexible and committed
  • Good oral and written communication skills with commitment to quality, a high attention to detail
  • Ability to use initiative and work with limited supervision, with a positive/ proactive approach
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Desire to study alongside work
  • Well presented with a polite professional manner
  • Flexible and committed
