We are currently looking for a Project Accountant on a 12 month FTC basis, this role will be based in our Glasgow office.

Department/Role overview:

A 12 month fixed term contract working within the Partnership Accounting team to support data cleansing and testing relating to the implementation of a new Partner Remuneration Reporting tool.

Main responsibilities:

• To undertake reconciliations of all partner profit and capital related balances held in the financial systems to statements issued to partners
• Review the global balance sheet, by office, in respect of all partner related balances
• Reconcile the Ashurst Australia business annual profit clearing to the partner profit balances
• Document the local office processes in respect of all partner related postings
• Assist with any direct testing of the new Partner Remuneration Reporting tool
• Assist with any parallel running implementations in respect of the new tool
• Completion of ad-hoc accounting tasks supporting the Partnership Accounting team

Essential skills and experience:

• Accounting experience
• Attention to detail
• Advanced Excel knowledge

Desired skills and experience:

• Part or fully qualified accountant
• Experience working within a professional services environment
• Experience of Thomson Reuters 3E accounting system
• Experience of Cognos TM1 analytics tool
