The team operates as part of Womble Bond Dickinson Wealth Limited and has a solid reputation for providing creative financial planning, tax solutions and investment advice to a wide range of both corporate and private clients.
We have previously recruited Trainee Wealth Planners from diverse backgrounds, including those looking for a change of career, already in the industry and graduates. One of our current Trainee Planners is a former Maths teacher, who has made a successful career change.
Our Private Wealth team are a collaboration of lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and tax specialists. Their expertise are highly regarded and ensure that our clients' wealth is protected, now and for future generations. For law firms, this is a pretty unique setup which allows us to offer our clients the very best full-service advice possible.

You'll join our Investments and Pensions team in Newcastle, working on a variety of clients, including individuals, corporates, trusts and charities. Over time you could specialise in one area, dependent on where your preferences lie.
Our Trainee Wealth Planners have a crucial role in supporting the advisors; attending client meetings, acting as a point of contact for clients, undertaking research into financial products, developing solutions for our clients, drafting recommendation reports and letters, reviewing portfolios and assessing investment risk.
As a strong candidate, you will be enthusiastic when it comes to managing your workload and adapt well to a fast-paced environment. We operate in a highly procedural environment, shaped by the practices of a law firm as well as the usual FCA regulations, so a good grasp of processes and procedures is required. Your communication skills will be first-class, both written and verbal. Familiarity with a wide range of IT packages is expected, including Microsoft Office.
What's in it for you?
Most of our team have developed through our internal training programme and this is something that we feel passionately about.
