Department/Role overview:

To provide comprehensive technology training and support to partners, legal staff, secretarial and support staff in all offices across EMEA/US. To develop and maintain quality training materials.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality training to new starters and existing staff on an ad hoc, scheduled and rollout basis via a variety of methods including: instructor led, 1-2-1 coaching and remote/online training
  • Provide flexible learning support to all departments, offices and levels that meets predetermined needs and expectations
  • Consistently develop and maintain quality training materials including online resources to support the firm's IT projects and day to day training needs
  • Perform training administration and other ad hoc duties as required
  • Strong client service and team focus
  • Support team projects

Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requirements and internal policies..

Essential skills and experience:

  •  Experience in an IT training role
  • Ability to learn new courseware and concepts quickly in order to provide training
  • Experience and knowledge of:
  • Practice Management Systems (ideally Elite 3e)
  • Document Management Systems (ideally iManage)
  • Client Relationship Management systems
  • Proven track record of delivering MS Office applications training to an advanced level
  • Ability to design and create training materials with an understanding of instructional design and best practice
  • Previous experience developing eLearning material
  • Knowledge of learning methodologies and learning styles
  • Experience of training needs analysis and evaluation methods
  • Experienced in and able to deliver in a variety of training styles including: instructor led, 1-2-1 coaching and remote/online training
  • Have the credibility, presence and presentation skills to influence at all levels
  • Ability to maintain focus under pressure and to work to deadlines whilst continuing to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective team relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Due to the global nature of the firm, flexibility in working hours will be required

Desired skills and experience:

  •  Experience working in a law firm will be highly regarded
  •  Experience working in large project teams to deliver training
  •  Knowledge of organisational structure and priorities of professional service firms
  •  Previous experience in designing and delivering remote/online training for multiple locations at a time
  •  E-learning/instructional video creation
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of Articulate 360
