CMS are looking for a Professional Support Assistant to provide organisational and administrative support to Professional Support teams across the firm.

About the RoleWe are looking for someone to provide a proactive and conscientious service in supporting the Professional Support Lawyers community in their day-to-day roles. Tasks include but are not limited to:
* Training
* Room bookings, issuing invites and reminders
* Liaising with internal and external speakers
* AV set up on the day of training
* Post-training admin such as logging attendances and distributing recordings
* Know How
* Uploading know-how materials to the firm's intranet (Compass) as appropriate
* Assisting in maintaining the firm's Compass
* Standard form documents
* Utilising Document Specialists where possible, liaising with style conversions and other document work
* Becoming adept at proof reading and quality checks on all work produced
* Updating standards and client precedents as requested by PSLs
* Maintaining security settings as appropriate
* Marketing
* Maintenance of marketing materials on Compass
* Assisting PSLs in processing Law-Now articles for publication
* Producing invitations to client events and organising client events alongside the firm's Events team


About You

You will have strong organisational skills, high level written and verbal skills, excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Document management system (FileSite / WorkSite/ I-Manage desirable)) and will have ideally worked within law firms and administrative roles previously.
You will have a positive attitude with a practical common sense approach and an ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm when working under pressure. You will be keen to learn and evolve with our everchanging technology. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with an ability to relate to people at all levels.
