Business Area: Learning & Organisational Development

Role: Learning Systems Administrator 12 month FTC

Location: Glasgow

Reporting to: Learning Systems Manager, L&OD

Hours of work - 9:00am - 5:30pm, however you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to carry out your duties

Department/ Role Overview:

As a part of the L&OD Team you will provide technical support for the firm's main learning management system and other related systems.

Main responsibilities:

  • User records maintenance on the main learning management system (currently Oracle Taleo (Learn))
  • Technical system support assistance for Learning Systems Manager, L&OD team and the firm
  • Assistance for system upgrades and testing
  • Report production for teams across the firm
  • Scheduled and ad-hoc reporting
  • Maintain and upload new content onto learning management system
  • Administration support for training events, eg: setting up sessions in Learn
  • Assistance for other learning systems, e.g. Practising Law Institute, Rosetta Stone. and intranet sites including maintenance and upgrades
  • Assistance with support for end-users using the LMS (learn)
  • Survey software support - running reports and setting up surveys
  • Data entry support for L&OD team (currently London and Glasgow) , e.g. involving loading sessions, users into the LMS (learn) system when required
  • Auditing data entered onto LMS (learn)
  • Assist with any training needs across global LMS (learn) administraton
  • Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requires and internal policies.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (v look-up and pivot tables), PowerPoint and Word packages
  • Experience in Learning Management Systems
  • Experience of using online survey solutions
  • Articulate with good interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Highly proactive and a positive customer focused attitude
