Job Details

We're currently looking for an experienced Business Development and Marketing Professional to join us as Sector Manager. The role could be based in either Newcastle or Bristol but there will be a degree of travelling involved.

The team

Our profitable growth is driven through our strategic sectors and our Business Development team play a crucial part in driving this strategy. Our Sector Managers are at the heart of the business advising partners and lawyers in shaping, developing and implementing our sector plans strategically and tactically.  Our Sector Managers are client facing and demonstrate real expertise in developing  our clients and take time to understand the client, their business and the sector they work in. In understanding the sector and our client's needs/drivers our Sector Managers are able to identify: potential new business opportunities within our sectors; common themes and trends that may have an impact on our clients; and areas for investment to shape our service provision. Having this broad understanding also enables them to collaborate on the development of thought leadership and broader campaigns.

The role

To be successful in this role you'll already have a proven track record of delivering business development programmes and client account management preferably within the professional services sector. Experience of sales cycles and pipeline development would also be of interest. You'll have the gravitas to influence at Partner level and the ability to challenge thinking. As a business we're on an ambitious growth path and it's essential that you have a flexible and adaptable approach. Your communication skills, both written and verbal will be first class.
