Job Details

Investing in future talent is so important to our business and our fabulous Early Talent Team are now on the lookout for a Recruitment Manager to join them to lead on the early talent recruitment strategy.

Home-grown talent is at the heart of our recruitment strategy and as an Early Talent professional there is nothing more rewarding than being able to positively impact someone at the start of their career, whether that is a first step or a career change.  Our Early Talent team are integral to identifying, developing and supporting our future generation of lawyers; working with schools to inspire young people to consider a legal career, recruiting our future trainee solicitors and working closely with them to support their development and wellbeing through to qualification.  We might be a touch biased, but we believe that we deliver a fantastic programme – not only do our clients tell us this, but a number of our partners have progressed from trainees in the firm to the current leaders of our business.

We are currently looking for an Early Talent Recruitment Manager to join us and be part of the next exciting stage in the design and delivery of our early talent strategy.  With the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam on the horizon, we have big plans to redesign the way in which we recruit, train and develop our future generation of lawyers, and this is a great opportunity for you to influence the direction of travel on what is likely to be a significant transformation project.  On a day to day basis, you'll be overseeing our marketing and campus strategy for graduate, leading on the recruitment and assessment of our candidates, and providing guidance and support to the wider team.  You'll be supported by our fabulous Early Talent Recruitment Advisor and Early Talent Co-ordinator, as well as an enthusiastic group of ambassadors throughout the business.

What are we looking for?

It goes without saying that you will need to be passionate about recruiting the very best talent.  At the heart of all that we do as team, is candidate and employee experience, and it's important that you share that ethos too.  You will need to have had some experience in leading on the design and delivery of rigorous assessment processes, be creative in your ability promote employer brand allowing us to stand our in a very crowded market and have a natural ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.  Previous experience in the legal sector or knowledge of the Solicitors Qualifying Exam is absolutely not a deal breaker for us.  As a team we have plenty of sector knowledge and we're happy to help you learn.  It's more important to us that you can bring your existing experience and help us to shape the future of our programme.

In return for your expertise, we believe this role will afford you an excellent opportunity to further develop your career, with the autonomy to really make a difference and have impact.  Of course, you'll be well supported by the Early Talent and wider Recruitment team but we'll be looking to you to guide and continually challenge us.
