An "outstanding real estate team with a national reputation for excellence" is how we are recognised in the latest edition of Chambers UK where our Real Estate practice has a band 1 ranking in the South.  We're now looking to expand the team and have the opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join in Southampton.

What will you be doing?

We are seeing significant growth in this sector. We already have an impressive list of major clients and panel appointments including blue chip house builders, promoters, registered providers and land owners.

You would be joining a high profile team with the best exposure to high value residential development work available which will include conditional contracts and transfers, conditional options, collaboration agreements and development agreements, with a focus on high value residential development and investment projects.

There will be plenty of opportunities for client contact and you'll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts. Business development is also an important aspect for all of our lawyers, and you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of client events, writing articles and other marketing activities.

We're interested in your development expertise and proven track record. It goes without saying that you will be able to offer first-class commercial advice and sector insight. You'll be contributing to a high performing team offering creative and effective business-focused solutions for our clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic residential team who will be as invested in your career development as you are. In return, you'll bring a broad and varied skillset that includes previous experience of residential development work. You'll need to be a robust and resilient lawyer, used to working in a fast paced environment. You'll play an integral part in the delivery of some of the UK's most exciting residential developments for premier clients. The work is fast paced and challenging but the team are collaborative and enjoy what they do, which makes for a positive working environment.
