About the role

You will be advising commercial clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment related queries. Our work is fast-paced and offers huge variety, covering the full spectrum of employment law matters.
You will be involved in advising commercial clients in relation to:
* day-to-day employment queries, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave issues and working time questions;
* more strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements;
* senior executive issues, including negotiating appointments and exits;
* collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration and TUPE;
* industrial relations and trade union matters;
* employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation
* corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings.
Our team plays a central role in CMS as a global provider of employment legal advice and regularly advises clients on cross-jurisdictional projects.

About you

You will be an experienced employment associate looking to be part of a growing, successful and dynamic team. A strong academic record and lots of enthusiasm are a must, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Given the requirements of the role, we expect 3PQE+ to be best suited.

We would be interested in applications for any of our Scottish offices - Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
