We have a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Office 2025 programme team. This is a fixed term contract initially for 6 months based in our Bristol office. Due to the nature of the work involved, this role will be based on-site however there is flexibility for some home working within reason. Travel will be required to our other UK offices (London/ Reading), once government guidelines allow.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Office 2025 Programme Director, the main purpose of the roles is to support the effective delivery of projects and initiatives, including analysis and cost benefit development and reporting. It will also include process efficiency and redesign work as well as supporting any vendor selection processes, including analysis and assessment of tenders.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, with a background of working on projects ideally in a law firm or professional services environment. Relevant experience in centralising office services and the introduction of paperlite practices is desirable.

Also required:

  • In depth understanding and experience of process mapping and re-engineering (as is, to be, gap analysis etc.) using standard mapping techniques and tools (e.g. Visio)
  • Experience using elicitation techniques to understand business requirements
  • Data gathering and modelling
  • Understanding of project methodologies
  • Ability to handle and engage a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables
  • Self-starter, ability to work within a fast-paced ever changing landscape
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Display an entrepreneurial flair, share new ideas and promote continuous improvement
  • Enthusiastic and proactive, ability to manage own time and workload with minimal supervision
