Description

Our ambition, your journey.

DLA Piper is a global law firm, where innovation and challenging the status quo are the vital spark to how we think and what we do. Together, we create exceptional experiences, outcomes and growth for our clients and people.

DLA Piper is currently on its transitional journey, embracing change, investing in and driving modern initiatives, including an exciting transformation programme within the HR function - EPIC, therefore we are looking to recruit a well versed HR Knowledge and Content Specialist to join the programme.

The successful HR Knowledge and Content Specialist will work with HR subject matter experts and other colleagues in HR Operations to create written HR knowledge on the people services and processes delivered by the HR team:

  • Create content and knowledge articles

  • Review and reshape existing content

  • Find ways to illustrate articles with imagery, charts and iconography

All content will need to meet our guidelines and quality standards, as well as the needs of different audiences (personas/roles/jurisdictions), with the over-arching goal of maximising the ability of users to resolve their questions using HR knowledge and without having to access the HR service desk or specialist support.

The knowledge specialist will also be expected to help move HR content into ServiceNow using pre-defined templates and appropriate tagging, as part of an ongoing programme to implement ServiceNow.

The role is initially a 6 months' fixed term contract (alternatively a contract in scope of IR35 via an umbrella company).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create HR knowledge and content to answer customer queries and/or address scenarios by partnering with service/process owners and subject matter experts

  • Create content that is aligned with our guidelines and quality standards, and template requirements

  • Support the HR knowledge management process and strategy from creation through to publishing and retirement

  • Build strong relationships with content owners to ensure a robust review and approval process

  • Liaise with international and regional knowledge teams to gather HR content

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including subject matter experts, to achieve a presentation of content that is technically correct, easy to read and scan, fully leverages ServiceNow’s search capability and responds directly to the needs of different audiences (jurisdictions and roles)

  • Proof-reading and content editing

  • Publish/upload Knowledge on ServiceNow using the required templates and process steps across all knowledge bases

  • Categorise and tag content in a logical way which will make content easily accessible and searchable to ensure maximum use

  • Work within a project environment and work towards project timelines and key milestones

ABOUT YOU

  • HR experience and knowledge of HR processes and policies

  • Experience of working with ServiceNow

  • Ability to work with international and cross-functional teams

  • Strong verbal, written communication and listening skills

  • Experience in digital communications and creation of content in a range of formats for various end user demographics and types

  • Experience of copywriting in a digital format

  • Excellent editing skills

  • Detail orientated for accurate proofing-reading and copy editing

  • Experience of building knowledge bases (desirable)
