THE OPPORTUNITY

A new opportunity for an IT Solutions Architect has arisen within DLA Piper's technical/leadership team based in Leeds due to our successful growth and expansion. The ideal person will be accountable for defining/managing the IT strategy that is aligned with businesses' future vision.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering intelligence on emerging technologies, products, services, methods and techniques

  • Create reports and road maps on the current teams progress and suggest improvements

  • Develop models and plans for implementation of IT strategies

  • Diagnose root causes of businesses' IT issues

  • Determine which ways of working and patterns and processes are mist efficient and replicate processes/methods in other areas

  • Prepare background documents cataloging existing IT provision and describing the effectiveness of existing policies, strategies, risk mitigation, processes and standards

ABOUT YOU

  • Using manual or automated tools to record the structure/relationships and utilise information for the benefit of DLA Piper

  • Create prototyping exercises to demonstrate feasibility and potential of applying specific technological business changes

  • Budget management

  • Identifying gaps in processes and provide technical solutions

  • Understands the economics of service delivery such as the cost per service line in terms of hardware, software, and manpower used to deliver the service

  • Deliver effective presentations to key business stakeholders
