Role: Resourcing Coordinator

Location: Glasgow

Reporting to: Resourcing Manager, UK

Hours of work - Core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with flexibility required to support business need.

You may be required to work additional hours to meet specific deadlines and/or facilitate project implementations. 

Department/ Role Overview:  

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Coordinator to join our lateral recruitment team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will provide quality administrative and coordination support to the UK lateral resourcing team

Main responsibilities:

The majority of our resourcing requirements are to support our Business Support teams in London and Glasgow including IT, Finance, HR , Risk and Compliance, Operations and Business Development. Our aim is to build on our success with direct recruitment through the use of social media, relevant job boards, databases and networking.

The role of the Resourcing Coordinator will be to support to coordinate recruitment administration activities, working with the relevant Resourcing team members and UK hiring managers to deliver an exceptional internal recruitment service.

  • Support the UK Resourcing team with recruitment administration activities;
  • Diary Management, Interview Scheduling and Interview Room Coordination
  • CV screening of candidates, assessing their suitability, phone screening;
  • Maintenance of recruitment database;
  • Advertising of open vacancies, job description creation and amendment
  • Agency liaison, supporting with the administration of open roles to our recruitment suppliers
  • Small event coordination and scheduling, collation of relevant materials for careers/networking events locally/nationally

Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in a similar position; working within a professional Recruiting team,
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and managing a high volume of tasks.
  • Previous exposure working with candidate management systems and databases;
  • Exemplary attention to detail and efficient self-management of workload;
  • Confidently present to a broad range of audiences;
  • Strong technically in all Microsoft applications;
  • Demonstration of a "can do" attitude and willingness to step in and do what needs to be done;
  • Able to build positive relationships across teams, functions and roles; and
  • Ability to positively approach new challenges in the context of continuous improvement and change
