MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In essence, you'll be directly responsible for UK VAT and indirect tax policies, processing and compliance - and indirectly responsible for international VAT and indirect tax via local finance teams.

This is a role with many dimensions, offering you the opportunity to make an impact across firm-wide projects including the implementation of a new finance system as well as creating training materials for DLA Piper Internationally, being the expert advisor to UK front office teams - and leading the development of VAT knowledge and skills across the firm.

ABOUT YOU 

As an expert in your field, you have already developed your proficiency in UK and international VAT and have a sound practical understanding of the VAT and indirect taxes, with a patient, collaborative working style allied to strong decision making and influencing skills.
