THE OPPORTUNITY

A brand new IT Internal Communications Manager position has arisen at our DLA Piper office in Leeds due to our new on-going innovative IT transformation project. You will be responsible for the effective planning and delivery of communications from the IT department to the rest of the business.

As this is a pivotal role within the IT team, it is crucial to ensure high quality and timely communications are delivered to business with the 24/7 IT department by fully emerging yourself within the team. This is fantastic opportunity for somebody who'd like to have their own autonomy and the ability to take ownership of the work required.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The creation and implementation of a communication strategy that represents the quality of the IT department

• Take a lead role in the day-to-day processes and management of core channels

• Be accountable for the successful documentation and implementation of communication processes

• Produce internal and external management reports

• Working closely with the marketing team

• Manage and report on the delivery of the IT Communication strategy and initiatives

ABOUT YOU

• Communications experience either in-house or at a consultancy

• Display a proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information

• A good understanding of change management functions

• Be creative and proactive and able to give and take direction

• Excellent command of English and meticulous attention to detail

• Experience at a strategic level
