Role: Learning & Development Administrator – 9 month FTC

Location: Glasgow

Reporting to: L&D Operations Team Leader

Hours of work -

Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30, however you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to carry out your duties.

Department/ Role Overview:

The L&D Administrator is a broad support role that includes the administration of Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) programmes and initiatives. The role will provide administrative support to the L&OD team, and assist with the coordination of learning initiatives and events. The role will use technology that supports L&OD including learning management systems, and other software for the development and facilitation of online learning. This role will often be a first contact point for L&OD queries and requests from staff globally.

Main responsibilities:

  • Undertake the full range of administrative support services, including records management, travel booking, reporting, routine correspondence, meeting and event support, and creating, compiling and distributing documents.
  • Preparation of documents, materials and reports
  • Enter and maintain data and records in learning technologies including the Learning Management System.
  • Act as first point of contact for the Learning Contact Centre and respond to queries and requests and escalate as necessary to ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and monitor CPD requirements and requests.
  • Provide support to the L&OD team across offices and timezones (and Diversity & Inclusion Team and Graduate Recruitment team) and undertake special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with other L&OD team members to complete tasks including through the use of a workflow tool.
  • Set up and production of virtual classroom and remote learning technology
  • Contribute to the development and coordination of enhanced self-service and online learning offerings including e-Learning modules using self-authoring tools and multi-media tools.
  • Travel to other offices as required to assist with the coordination of programmes and events.
  • Risk and Control: Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with our regulatory requirements and internal policies.
