The team now has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join them in Southampton.  

What will you be doing?

You'll play a vital role within our 'one team' vision providing a 'full service' to our clients. You'll be supporting the Southampton transactional side of the Construction Team working with major retailers, banks, government and public bodies, local authorities, universities, developers and major contractors.  You'll be working on some of the largest construction projects in the UK drafting and preparing contract documents, liaising with clients, other solicitors and technical advisers and ultimately, after training, running your own projects.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

We're looking for someone who is keen to build their career as a construction and engineering fee-earner.  It's important that we offer our clients the best possible client experience and we believe that comes from allowing them to build strong and meaningful relationships with their legal team.     You may already have gained previous experience as a paralegal within the construction and engineering sector or it may be an area of law that you have a keen interest in.  Whatever your situation, if you're looking to build your career in this specialism, we absolutely want to hear from you.

What we really want is a willingness to get involved, to  be part of the team and to bring an enthusiastic approach to learning and development. You will be given early responsibility and will therefore have excellent communication skills, a sense of commercial pragmatism and the ability to build lasting relationships with our clients.
