Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working on a sizeable, confidential document review project with the following shift pattern:
  • Saturday & Sunday / 9am – 5pm
  • 14 hours per week
  • Providing general administrative assistance the core legal team working on three related arbitrations for a single client;
  • Reviewing, organising and updating a large volume of documents in both hard and soft copy;
  • Co-ordinating communications between the UK legal team and the foreign lawyers who are providing local law assistance for these matters;
  • Collating documents to be filed and served for procedural deadlines;
  • Being responsible for part of the bespoke billing process for these three matters.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will have a legal academic qualifications and previous experience as a paralegal. 

We are looking for the following attributes:

  • Comfortable handling large work load under time constraints,

  • Sound knowledge of law and legal system,

  • Strong organisational skills,

  • Familiar with electronic document management and filing systems,

  • High level of discretion with confidential matters,

  • Detail-oriented,

  • Able to work flexibly around the demands of the project – this role will involve varied shifts

Please note – due to the nature of this project, security clearance will be required.
