We have a fantastic, new opportunity for a Lead SAP Data Consultant to join our Strategic Programmes team in our London office. This is a day-rate contract position and we are looking for someone to join us on a full-time basis for an initial period of 6 months.

The Team

The newly formed Strategic Programmes team is based across the London and Bristol offices. Our 5 person team has an open and supportive culture, focussing on the delivery of outcomes. The team sits at the heart of business change, helping OC deliver its 2020 strategy, reporting to the International Strategic Programmes Director/CFO. The team thrives on change and innovation, encouraging diversity of thought and approach. 

What you'll do

Reporting to the Practice Management System (PMS) Project Manager, the Lead SAP Data Consultant will provide data management, consultancy and information architectural delivery for the PMS replacement project

You will work as part of a project team consisting of both in-house and partners resources and located in multiple global locations to support the global business.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Establish the scope of data work for the project including architecture, cleansing, enrichment and migration
  • Work closely with the Project & the business to agree data deliverables
  • Document the end to end information architecture
  • Embed best practice Data Transformation & Management practices into the project and the business
  • Build effective relationships with Data Owners and other key stakeholders
  • Define the business data requirements to support the projects
  • Measure data quality within the legacy and peripheral systems
  • Specify requirements for any technical data deliveries
  • Plan all of the work required for data success
  • Support the delivery of cutover plans
  • Work with the wider team to ensure data is consistent across the landscape
  • Work with the SAP Consultants and Business Analysts to ensure a complete, holistic solution
  • Perform other duties as required to support the projects
     

What we're looking for

You will be a proven background in similar roles, with an excellent understanding of SAP data around FI, SD and MM. This experience will have ideally been gained in large-scale, global environments - with specific experience in a law firm desirable, but not essential.

Also required:

  • Has delivered Information Architecture across a hybrid landscape
  • Has led data cleansing, consolidation and enrichment work
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering SAP data migration
  • S/4HANA experience – including new data structures & HANA Migration cockpit
  • Delivery of SAP mapping documents
  • Demonstrable experience of working with business users at all levels
  • Has worked alongside Integration Partners for an end user
  • At least 4 full lifecycles in a data role
  • Has led work delivered by partners and is capable of managing third parties
  • Excellent inter-personal skills – capable of building and maintaining appropriate relationships at all levels
  • Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to pick up all relevant project activities
  • Prepared to undertake some short-term, occasional travel
  • Accountancy qualification helpful but not essential
