We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Strategic Programmes team in either our London or Bristol offices. This is a day-rate contract position and we are looking for someone to ideally work 5 days a week for an initial period of 8 weeks.

The Team

The recently formed Strategic Programmes team is based across the London and Bristol offices. Our 5 person team has an open and supportive culture, focussing on the delivery of outcomes. The team sits at the heart of business change, helping OC deliver its strategy, reporting to the International Strategic Programmes Director/CFO. The team thrives on change and innovation, encouraging diversity of thought and approach. 

What you'll do

Reporting to the Senior Programme Lead, the Business Analyst will support the scoping and requirements gathering for OC's Legal Services Delivery programme. More specifically, you will play a key role in both enabling process improvement within OC and also enabling the improvement of client experience.

You will facilitate ‘as-is’ process mapping workshops with senior legal fee-earners to document legal services OC delivers to clients, producing detailed outputs to enable to identification of optimisation opportunities.

You will also facilitate and design ‘to-be’ legal processes (process re-engineering, automation, org design etc.) that aim to increase efficiency, whilst delivering improved client service. You will be adept at writing business cases and then progressing with people, technology and process optimisation projects through the requirements gathering and design / build phase.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced programme level BA with a background in delivering on process improvement. This experience will ideally have been gained within the legal sector, however other backgrounds will be considered.

Also required:

  • Experience with 'as-is' process mapping, process re-engineering, business case development and requirement gathering
  • Experience of organisational design development
  • An understanding and awareness of commercial drivers behind process optimisation is critical
  • The ability to engage with senior fee-earning stakeholders critical
  • A pro-active approach to work is key
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
