We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our supportive and friendly central Business Support Team in Bristol.

About the team

The central Business Support Team consists of document specialists, legal secretaries and administrative assistants who cover a variety of different tasks and hours to meet the business needs.

On joining the team, the successful applicant will report to the Administrative Supervisor and Business Support Manager's Assistant and play a key role in providing a high standard and efficient level of administrative support to our Bristol office. 

The role is full time, 35 hours per week, 09:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high level administrative support to all legal teams and other areas of the business
  • Supporting document services and post teams (when requested)
  • Completing archiving, scanning, copying, printing tasks and general administration
  • Assisting with train ticketing
  • Assisting the team supervisor and wider team with workflow
    • Respond to telephone and emails in a timely and professional manner
    • Work with the team to effectively resolve client enquiries and provide updates in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
  • Quality check work to ensure it is to a high standard and accurate
  • Build positive relationships across the business
  • Involvement with firm-wide projects and large tasks as requested
  • Support other departments and assisting with general duties that may be required

You will:

  • Have basic IT skills (Microsoft word, Outlook)
  • Previous administration experience (ideally)
  • Be exceptionally organised and able to prioritise work
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure with little supervision
  • Work confidently as part of a team
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management
