The resourcing team at Burges Salmon is responsible for all aspects of recruitment at the firm and manage the resourcing requirements for business professionals, lawyers, graduates and apprentices. We are really excited to be expanding the team, and the opportunity will focus on the recruitment of lawyers.

However, we recognise the key to success in this position is the right attitude and an abundance of enthusiasm. With this in mind, we are not insisting that someone has previous experience within the legal sector - simply a commitment to learning the intricacies of this fascinating sector.
The legal sector is changing constantly, and as a team we need to be afoot of these market changes to ensure we remain competitive in an incredibly tough candidate market. You will play a key part in ensuring our employer brand attracts the best possible candidates through the creation of an effective advertising and employer brand strategy.
We do not underestimate the importance of excellent communication in this role. As well as being an ambassador for the firm to candidates, you will also be the face of the resourcing team to the wider business. The requirements of practice areas are all different so you will work hard to get to know and understand what makes the firm tick, as well as establishing yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor to the hiring managers.
