That is why alongside their legal experience, all DLA Piper corporate lawyers have additional industry-specific focus - whether it is Banking, Energy, Healthcare, Hospitality and leisure, Insurance, Life sciences, Manufacturing, Technology or other sectors.

We are now looking to recruit a Senior Associate to join our market leading Capital Markets team in Manchester or London. 


Our global capital markets team represents issuers and underwriters in public equity and debt capital transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and follow-on offerings; rights offerings; listings in international markets; and offerings of investments grade and high-yield bonds.

We have built a strong global platform based on deep industry knowledge in key growth sectors and access to global funding sources through relationships with the business and funding communities, including investment banks, private equity and venture capital providers and hedge funds.


Candidates who have c. 8 years PQE, are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.

In addition you will:

  • have strong Capital Markets experience gained in a leading firm, with a focus on international work
  • be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical issues that are key to our clients
  • be commercially astute and stay current on key legal and business news
  • have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working
  • be able to work flexibly to tight deadlines within our fast moving environment
  • have demonstrable interest in marketing and business development and a desire to help drive the practice forward
  • be able to supervise and mentor more junior members of the team
