Private Client Lawyer
The Private Wealth team at Womble Bond Dickinson has a well-deserved reputation for delivering the highest quality legal advice and outstanding client service to individuals and their families. Whilst proud of our 200 year heritage, we're innovative, dynamic and ambitious, and now seek to strengthen our teams across the UK.
The Private Wealth group is made up of lawyers, accountants and financial advisers operating from Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle and London, providing services to individuals, families and trustees across the UK and beyond. Naturally, our clients expect first-rate legal advice; but that is just the starting point. Our ability to deliver seamless advice from our multi-disciplinary team is a distinctive proposition, but we also work well alongside clients' other professional advisers, adding value by using our depth of knowledge and experience to help our clients achieve their aims. Whether landowners or entrepreneurs, old money or new, the themes remain the same: we seek to develop a thorough understanding of our clients' circumstances, needs and aspirations and then use that understanding to help them navigate the legal and financial landscape to their best advantage.
Our team is highly rated in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and was this year shortlisted for STEP Private Client Law Firm of the Year. Most members of the team are STEP, ACTAPS or CIOT qualified and benefit from high quality learning and development support, with clearly expressed career development programmes in place at all levels of qualification.
The recent combination which formed Womble Bond Dickinson provides a greater international stage for our Private Wealth work, and being one of the new firm's 11 sectors underlines our commitment to Private Wealth being at the core of the practice.
So what are we looking for?
We're now looking for a private client lawyer to join our team in Newcastle. You'll be acting for families, individuals and trustees in relation to a wide range of matters. Wills, probate, tax and trusts may be at the core, but commercial awareness of the operation of family businesses is important, as is an empathetic approach to the complexities of family relationships. You're likely to be at the early stages of your legal career and on the road to developing into a strong technical lawyer. So whilst you may bring some previous experience, we're committed to developing you into a first-class private client lawyer. What's more important at this stage, is that you are committed to developing your career in this field and can demonstrate your ability to build strong client relationships, which are the very core of our practice.
What's in it for you?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit and supportive team where you can learn from true leaders in their field and build your experience with access to great quality work and great clients. Supported by a collegiate approach, and firm wide commitment to lawyer development there are fewer better places to start your career as a qualified lawyer or continue your career as a lawyer.
And that's not all, alongside a competitive salary you'll receive a flexible benefits package so you can pick and choose between the benefits that matter most to you.
If you think this is for you, why not get in touch to find out more; my name is Lisa Gater and you can reach me on 0117 989 6772 or connect with me on LinkedIn.
