The role

  • Provide a first line support service responding to queries from fee earners, secretaries and finance staff with regard to the operation of the Elite Enterprise Practice Management System
  • Responsibility for regular daily, weekly and monthly reporting and data tasks
  • Running reports in response to ad-hoc requests for information
  • Training and empowering other finance users in order to help the team become more self-sufficient
  • Assisting with finance / firm projects as required

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Strong working knowledge of preferably Elite Enterprise
  • Clear understanding of the underlying financial processes undertaken in a professional services firm
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experienced in using SQL to write extract, transform and present data for reporting purposes
  • Conscientious and methodical with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and capable of managing conflicting priorities & deadlines
  • Pro-active and demonstrable experience of using initiative

Technical skills/experience

  • Elite Enterprise or similar practice management system
  • Experience of Whitehill Document Studio
  • Experience of SQL Server Reporting Service
  • Experience of Carpe Diem or other Time Recording software
  • Experience of MiniSoft ARCS 2G
