As part of our vision for Business Transformation we are embarking on a major programme of projects across the business and IT to deliver excellence in our global processes and systems. With significant financial investment secured, we are embarking on the initial stages of resource planning to identify the talent and expertise required to help us achieve our objectives.

The Team

The role is a lead member of the global practice management system implementation project team and as part of the wider business transformation programme team. The role has a global remit and will require extensive travel and non-working standard working hours to successfully manage a global process.

The Role

The role is for a business process lead for service to cash.  This covers providing support and leadership for the following finance business processes:

  • Billing
  • E-billing
  • Collections
  • WIP management
  • Client and matter data management
  • Rates management
  • Soft cost management
  • Time recording

As well as local regulatory and tax requirements for the following regions Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, North America and Latin America

The individual will be responsible for working with region subject matter experts to deliver the following the following objectives:

  • Delivering service to cash work stream scope
  • Documenting global process requirements
  • Defining and delivering the service to cash processes and policy
  • Coordinating service to cash data conversion
  • Developing test scripts to ensure that internal processes and requirements are being met
  • Ensuring that testing is completed to a high standard
  • Developing a training approach
  • Documenting change management requirements
  • Providing business support at go-live
  • Documenting application integration points
  • Working alongside NRF’s chosen implementation partners
  • Other duties as required by the Project Team

Skills and Experience

Mandatory experience

  • 5+ years knowledge service to cash processes and practices within a global organisation
  • Educated to degree level, preferable in a business, economics, mathematical or finance related discipline
  • 5+ years SAP service to cash experience
  • Experience of developing and managing accounting processes
  • Experience working in a high-pace, project based environment
  • Experience in commercial and financial management

Preferred experience

  • Professional services experience preferred
  • Experience MS Visio and Project

Competencies

  • Great communication skills
  • High degree of computer literacy with advanced MS Excel
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Ability to identify and present to board level team members and deliver key messages drawn from analysis
  • Strong problem solver with a logical and methodical approach to issues
