There's no more exciting time to be thinking about joining Womble Bond Dickinson than now.  We've made no secret of the fact that we're ambitious and our recent move to become a transatlantic firm is just further evidence of that.  For our people this makes for a really exciting future, one in which everyone has a role to play in furthering our ambitions whilst enjoying challenging and fulfilling careers.  And the dynamic nature of the legal sector is just one challenge that we need to respond to as a business to ensure that our clients get the best possible service from us and our business continues to be sustainable.  One of the ways in which we're responding to the market is through continued investment in our "Onshore" team; a team of solicitors, chartered legal executives, paralegals, management information specialists and legal project managers, capable of providing support to the wider business on a regular and ongoing basis, for discrete projects or secondment opportunities.   As part of this continued investment, we're now looking for Project Co-ordinator to join the team to support the management of one of the firm's key clients.

So what are we looking for?

As Project Co-ordinator you'll have a crucial role to play in ensuring that we meet all of our contractual obligations and supporting the wider client team with a range of activities, including management information reporting, business development initiatives, input into the bids and tender process and the capture of all knowledge management and legal training provided to the client.  You'll be working with senior lawyers in the business as well as marketing, finance and IT professionals, to ensure that we are making the most of every opportunity to provide first-class service and added value to our client. 

You'll be responsible for our monthly reporting activities so you'll need to be a whizz with data; it's important that we keep on top of any trends, identify any training needs and have a robust auditing process in place. Whilst we'll be looking to you to provide some innovative solutions here, we do have a number tools available to support you.

When it comes to business development, we have an amazing team in place to support the firm, but there is a role here for you in supporting this particular client with the bids process as well as wider marketing initiatives including support for and attendance at various events.  What  better way for you to enhance your profile with senior lawyers and clients?

This is a new role so there's a great opportunity for you to really make it your own and have a significant impact in the delivery of legal services to a major client. 

Whilst we can give you some great development opportunities, we're expecting you to already be proactive, motivated and able to manage your workload effectively with minimal supervision.  You'll certainly be highly organised, efficient and able to prioritise effectively.  You'll have developed some great project management skills, and might even be PRINCE2 qualified already.  But don't worry if you're not.  This is a supportive environment and we'll give you all the support and mentoring that you need to be a success in the role.
