Residual Client Account Cashier

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Residual Client Account Cashier – a specialist role within a large team of Cashiers, the role is to focus mainly on investigating residual client balances and arranging remedial action to clear the items within deadlines. Face to Face meetings with Partners/Fee Earners in our various offices within the UK.
From time to time will be required to deal with daily Cashroom functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing Client ledgers using Elite Enterprise and Filesite
- Investigating origin of original source funds have been received from
- Identify and documents findings
- Communicate with Partners and agree appropriate action plan in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules 2011
- Ensure actions are carried out in the agreed timescales
- Provide reports/backing documentation to Team Leader/Manager
- Monthly/Quarterly reports
- Assisting with any further steps necessary to clear balances
- Online Banking
The ideal candidate will have continuous client account cashiering experience, working within a large corporate law firm. You must have good knowledge of legal accounting systems (preferably Elite) and strong IT skills. This role would suit someone who can demonstrate persistence and commitment to completing tasks and objectives, as well as working to strict deadlines. Good knowledge of internet banking and experience of dealing with a high volume of transaction is required. in addition to good numerical and communication skills. You will have a flexible working approach and the ability to work under pressure adapting to changes in your working environment.
