Asset Finance Associate – 4+PQE

CMS highly ranked Banking and International Finance team have an opportunity for a senior asset finance associate specialising in aircraft finance and leasing.
About the role
Working with two lead partners Keith Wilson (London) and Tim Elliott (Hong Kong) you will assist in driving this successful area forward. You will work on a variety of aircraft transactions related to financing, leasing, purchasing and sale of aircraft within a close knit team.
Current clients in the aviation space are lessors and lenders while the wider asset finance practice represents owners, banks, lessors and portfolio managers, in particular on aircraft, shipping and offshore marine financings and all associated procurement, chartering and operating arrangements.
Due to the type of work, 4+ years post-qualification experience is required, although exceptional candidates outside that range would be considered.
You are expected to be a strong team-player.
Flexibility in working across finance disciplines would be helpful.
The role is London based (but there is some flexibility for a candidate with the right profile who wants to work from one of CMS other UK offices)
Some ship and offshore finance experience would be an advantage
