A new job opportunity to join our Private Wealth team in Bristol as a Secretary.  This is a part time role to work Wed/Thurs/Fri (as part of a job share).  If you're looking for more hours we are also advertising for a full time role in this team.

What do the Private Wealth team do?

Our UK Private Wealth team are a collaboration of over 80 professionals including lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and tax specialists.  For law firms, this is a pretty unique setup which allows us to offer our clients the very best full-service advice possible. The Private Wealth team have some of the industry's leading legal experts acting for major institutions, charities and estates, through to entrepreneurs, landowners and philanthropists.

Their expertise are highly regarded.   In Bristol you'll be supporting our team who specialise in rural land assets, estate planning, charities, agriculture, residential conveyancing and advising high net worth individuals.

So what's the job?

You'll work in a niche team proving a high-quality secretarial support to our Private Wealth Lawyers and Partners reporting to the Secretarial Supervisor.  This will see you producing complex legal agreements, transcribing audio dictation and copy typing, diary management to include organising meetings, training sessions and accommodation, co-ordinating the monthly billing on behalf of lawyers, preparation of client bills, and client reporting using excel spread sheets, responsibility for file maintenance and correspondence and general ad-hoc administration duties.

What experience do I need?

It goes without saying that you'll need previous legal secretarial experience for this role  You'll also need be able to work closely with your team members in delivering a first class service to our clients.  You must also be able to demonstrate strong audio typing skills (using BigHand digital dictation), be a strong team player with a flexible attitude to work. In order to provide this excellent service to clients, we need excellent people. We use Microsoft Word, Excel, Filesite, and Skype for Business so excellent IT capabilities are necessary.
